Yousef Mutrif Al-Munais (1961-2001) was a famous Kuwaiti singer and guitarist throughout the 80’s and 90’s, and was popular for his stylistic musical performances on the Oud. “A Night to Celebrate Yousef Mutrif” was performed by Murif al-Mutrif, the son of the late Yousef Mutrif, and his group at Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah’s Amricani Cultural Centre.
