Abdulaziz al Ameer’s calligraphy workshop at the Amricani Cultural Centre, Friends of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah practiced zoomorphic calligraphy by elongating, wrapping, and rotating letters to create the outline as well as details of their favorite animal, fruit, plant, even architecture.
