A one day conference was held this morning at Kuwait University and organised by the department of history to celebrate the era of the 12th Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah ( r 1965-1977). Ten papers were presented by professors at Kuwait University covering political, economical, and scientific accomplishments of that era. Sheikha Hussa al-Sabah and Sheikh Dr. Muhammad al-Sabah participated as moderators to two sessions out of three. Guests from GCC contributed to the discussion as well as some of the public.
